so i got dressed this morning for a day of mind numbing study (hence the flats) . . then realised i was rocking the 'auckland high-school girl' look, which i was suitably unimpressed with
black ankle boots which look deceptively like their trademark black hi-top chucks (i actually love these boots though!) . . check
denim high-waisted shorts . . check
slouch tee . . check
wayfarers (well, a variation of) . . check
pouty 'yes i did take these of myself! how could you tell?' made-for-facebook head shots . . check
sooo i did what any self respecting girl would do - i changed shit up
added bright bright orange lippy
and a sweet varsity jacket
aand made it a bit more me (bloody shocking photo i'm sorry, self timer + run to pose in 5 seconds . . not a winner) before i shot out the door i did up the jacket, added some round karen walker shaaades and a sack-like tobacco coloured bag which looked much nicer than this rude rude photo . . sorry again

nooo not from lippy! haha my muma gave them to me but i'll check the brand when i get home for ya darlin, and i got the varsity jacket from a wee uk web pop up store, it was only £25 (compared to twentysevennames' $400+ number, so i was stoked!) i'm going to do another order from there this month so just let me know if you'd like one honey and i'll grab you one too :)
